Crozier Consulting Engineers marked its 20th anniversary last week with a celebration at the TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, where the firm has helped redevelop the golf course that will host next year’s Canadian Open.

The firm welcomed guests to the course’s new clubhouse on Sept. 12, having delivered a suite of engineering and environmental services over the past five years for Osprey Valley’s 305-hectare, 54-hole north course.

CEO Chris Crozier (pictured) and vice-president (VP) Kevin Morris opened their boutique enterprise in January 2004 at 110 Pine Street in Collingwood, Ont., to design subdivisions for local developers. Since then, the firm has also completed infrastructure for First Nations communities, commercial power centres and recreational resorts.

“We set out to start a company that supported the growing needs of surrounding communities and a workplace where people could be proud of the work they do, build lasting relationships and have fun with their colleagues,” says Crozier. “Fast-forward 20 years and our little company has grown to more than 300 employees across five offices, tackling ever more complex projects as a strong, cohesive group.”

In addition to a new location in Collingwood (70 Huron Street, Suite 100), Crozier has offices in Toronto, Bradford, Milton and Guelph, Ont. Its services now include land development, water resources, transportation, hydrogeological, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering, environmental consulting, landscape architecture, building science, utility infrastructure services and research partnerships.
